Q1What is the minimum quantity for custom layout designs?
Totempak's minimum ordering quantity for UV ink custom designs is 60 thousand units (regular products), 300 thousand units (regular products) for water-based custom designs, special orders and formats will be calculated accordingly (ex. sampling cups, fried chicken bowls, special meal boxes…etc.)
Totempak strictly adopt independent-plate printing in comparison to combined-plate printing adopted by usual printing factories. This is done to ensure printing quality and reduce color difference. We also provide on-site color-verification services.
Q2Is there any restrictions to custom designs?
In compliance with government regulations, necessary product information must be labeled on layouts, therefore, designated blank spaces on the layout must be unprinted. Printing on such places may easily oil/water-based ink to fall off and contaminate foods. Full-plate printing may have a stronger ink odor; the contract will only be signed and production proceeded if the client can accept the presence of odor in the end product.
Q3How long the custom-designed product would take to be made?
Regular items take 30 working days to be manufactured and shipped in a normal schedule (abnormal schedules: festivals, natural disasters); non-regular items (ex. Double-Layered Cups, Wrapped-Ink Cups, Frame-Rim Cups…etc.) take approximately 60 working days to be manufactured and shipped. Shipping days not included.
Q4Can custom products be provided with a sample for reference?
Totempak adopts rapid-production equipment, and cannot provide a sample. If a sample is demanded, an additional sampling fee must be charged. In order to provide a better service, Totempak offers an on-site color-verification service. Other than making sure the color is precise, this service can also reduce working time.
Q5Do you provide pattern design services for paper cup?
Totempak does provide cutting-guides for layout designs. We do not interfere nor participate in the design of company logos or image designs, but only fine-tune the layout and add information labels as required by government regulations. A final confirmation will be made before processing.
Q6Can my products be warehoused? How long can I put it there?
Regular custom products can be warehoused for 2 months. Additional storage fees will be charged for exceeding time in accordance to the product volume.
Q7Would there be severe issues of color difference?
Totempak adopts independent-plate printing for all clients, eliminating the problems of not able to verify the colors or imprecise colors. We also provide on-site color-verification services to improve printing quality and precision.
Q8Can the account be settled monthly, by checks payable in two month?
If the total amount of order exceeds NT$20000, then a 30-day monthly account settlement can be applied for (remittance on the 5th of the following month). If the total does not reach NT$20000, then the payment must be made before shipping, or cash on delivery.
